About Lower Cape Cod
The Lower and Outer Cape is the “elbow” of Cape Cod and includes the towns of Chatham, Orleans, Brewster, Eastham, Wellfleet and Truro. The pace is slow, the towns are quiet and the natural resources are spectacular. When describing the Lower and Outer Cape we start with natural wonders; vast beaches, dunes, sunsets on the bay and meandering roads lined with distinctive old homes. All that is beautiful and fulfilling here draws even the most casual visitor to this marvelous piece of land. It is the gateway to the National Seashore with its endless beaches. The best whale watching in the world is here. Our bike trails are justifiably famous and Art Galleries galore. The Lower and Outer Cape offers all the amenities that make for a perfect vacation.
