Those interested in Victoriana will particularly enjoy this romantic Inn built in 1869. Located across the street from the Salt Pond Visitors Center the official entrance to the National Seashore Park in Eastham. Enjoy the large yard with gardens and areas to relax. Sit, read and enjoy a cup of afternoon tea on the old fashion verandah. Enjoy a game of billiards in the historic billiard room or on a chilly evening curl up with a book by the fireplace in the lounge. In addition guests have access to the spa room with a doube hot tub and a private area to have a massage. Massages can be arranged through the innkeeper for an extra charge. The Inn has two Suites and 6 distinctive rooms in the main house all decorated with comfortable period furniture. These rooms all have private baths, TV&DVD and are air conditioned ( some have claw foot tubs and fireplaces ). The Carriage House has three large suites with queen beds, twin beds, and sleep sofa (#14) private baths, TV/DVD, air conditioning and access to a "butler kitchen". These suites are perfect for families. The famous Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path is to the rear of the Inn. Terrific location for beaching, biking, whale watching, antiquing and enjoying all the fine amenities that the Lower Cape has to offer. All children in Family Suites (accommodates 4, 5 or 6 people in each suite) and in Suite #1 & #15 in the Main House. Distance to the bike trail less than 1/4 of a mile, distance to a bay beach 1 mile and distance to Coast Guard Beach National Seashore 1 mile. Pets are welcomed in the Carriage House in suites #12 and #13 only.
