| Capt. Barnabus Chipman built this splendid antique home in
1869. He built many fine old homes in the town of Eastham. Located in the historic
area on a quiet street this B&B is very close to the Cape Cod Bike Trail, only
a 5 minute walk to the entrance to the National Seashore, Salt Pond Visitors Center
and an easy 1 mile bike ride to Kingsbury Beach. There are two rooms each with
private baths, TV, fan, phone and refrigerator. Room #1has an antique queen bed,
room #2 has an antique double bed. Room #1 & 2 NOT AVAILABLE IN 2008. There is
also a new suite on the first floor with semi private entrance, separate bedroom
with a double bed and ceiling fan, living room with TV, ceiling fan, kitchennette
(includes refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster oven & coffee maker), private
bath with tub and shower. Suite is only rented as "weekly rental", Saturday to
Saturday, with a "stocked" refrigerator for breakfast. After a day at the beach
relax in this lovely yard under the giant elm tree. Distance to beach 1 mile,
walk to bike trail, good walking area, distance to town of Orleans 3 miles. |
